WTF???

Well I was all ready to take this thing out on the water and I knew things were too good to be true. The engine(I told you we'd get to that) was replaced somewhere down the 20 year line of this vessel, the carburator was not. The Rochester Q-Jet was leaking like a siv. The plunger tube, base gasket, Overall it was a mess, that didn't rear it's ugly head until after trade. I had it rebuilt, but also decided to swap it out for a Edelbrock 1410. Success!!! Not the Q-Jet is on Ebay freshly rebuilt with a one year warranty for the new owner.

The old Q-jet is on top, If you couldn't tell.

I had to use a spreadbore to squarebore adapter, and lengthen the fuel line, and modifiy the shifter bracket, but you know, that's just regular crap that comes up.

The engine is a 4.3L Vortech Circa 96+
